Chromebook Repair Form Request

Chromebooks for Home Use

Complete this form if you are in need of a Chromebook to use at home for your student in grades 7th - 12th only.  We have a limited supply of Chromebooks for home use so please do not request one if you do not need it and have another method of accessing Google Classroom and other assignments.

1 to 1 Chromebook Initiative

The 1 to 1 Chromebook Initiative places a device in the hands of every student, Grades K-12. This allows us to eliminate most computer labs while increasing computer access to every student in the school in addition to reducing paper waste. Students in kindergarten through 12th grade will each have access to a Chromebook to use in their classroom that are housed in Chromebook cart.

Highlights of the 1 to 1 Chromebook Initiative include:

  • A Chromebook for every student (Grades K-12)

  • Google Workspace for Education accounts for every student (Grades K-12)

  • GoGuardian filtering for web safety and security

Chromebook Security

Chrome devices use the first operating system designed with ongoing threats in mind. It uses the principle of "defense in depth" to provide multiple layers of protection, so if any layer is "bypassed", others are still in effect. While it is always important to take precautions to protect your data, Chrome devices let you breathe just a little bit easier. Instead of teachers spending precious class time trying to get the technology up and running, the security is built-in and updates itself without relying on IT support. When used with Gmail’s built-in email virus and spam protection, Chrome devices are fast and secure tools that require little upkeep to maintain their high level of security.

Victory Christian School uses the GoGuardian Web-Based Filtering Platform. GoGuardian’s signature cloud-based web filter for schools keeps students safe on all devices. It includes visibility into online activity, downloaded or emailed reports, and notifications for flagged content from the most sophisticated AI engine in student safety.
